Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use the Platform.
• By using Knytt, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account to access certain features, such as messaging, calling, and earning.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

3. Using the Platform

Knytt allows users to:

• Discover and connect with individuals offering expertise, advice, mentorship, or services.
• Chat and call other users, with charges based on per-message or per-minute pricing.
• Become an expert and offer your time/knowledge to earn money.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful and respectful purposes, including:

• No abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or misleading behavior.
• No adult, sexually explicit, or illegal services.
• No harassment, hate speech, or impersonation.
• No sharing of private/confidential information without consent.

4. Payments and Payouts

For Users:

• You agree to pay for messages or calls as per the expert's listed rates.
• Payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway.

For Experts:

• You receive instant payouts to your linked bank account, UPI, or wallet after platform commission deduction.
• You are responsible for any tax, GST, or regulatory compliance related to your earnings.

All financial transactions are handled via trusted third-party providers. We do not store sensitive payment credentials.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Payments are non-refundable once a session (chat or call) has started.
• In case of technical failures or disputes, users may report issues via in-app support. Refunds will be evaluated case-by-case at our discretion.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post or share (text, images, etc.).
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content for operating and improving the Platform.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community standards.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

• We may suspend or permanently disable your account if you violate these Terms or community guidelines, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or misuse payout/payment systems.
• In serious cases, we may report misconduct to relevant authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, logos, code, and design elements on Knytt belong to WEKNYTT CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• We do not guarantee any outcomes or results from expert interactions.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WEKNYTT CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Bangalore, India.
